For healthcare professionals

The Pêl clinical calculators, scores and criteria are built for licensed healthcare professionals. They are not intended for patients or the general public. If you are a patient, nothing on this site is medical advice — please speak to a doctor, and seek immediate care in an emergency.

Advisory decision support only

Every result produced by a Pêl tool is advisory decision support. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment recommendation, and never a substitute for the clinical judgement of the treating clinician, who remains solely responsible for every clinical decision. Results must be interpreted in the context of the individual patient.

Verify independently — we show you everything

Each tool displays its inputs, its scoring method (the point table, formula or criteria), and the published sources it encodes — a primary paper, a guideline and an independent cross-check — so you can independently review the basis of every result. You must verify any result against the primary literature and your own judgement before acting on it.

Accuracy

Tools are encoded from the cited publications and pass a doctor sign-off gate before release. Medicine changes: publications are revised, thresholds move, and errors are possible. We do not guarantee that any tool is complete, current or error-free. If you find a discrepancy against a cited source, please tell us and rely on the source.

The Pêl clinic system

The Pêl clerking and records platform supports documentation, completeness prompting and arrangement of the clinical record. Its AI layer arranges and prompts — it never diagnoses and never invents clinical facts. All diagnosis, treatment and prescribing decisions rest with the treating specialist.
